Hello and welcome
to my clay covered
corner of the internet!

My background is in graphic design, illustration and eduction. I downsized to Dorset with my family in 2020 searching for more connection with nature and a more meaningful life balance. We found a 200 year old cottage called Little Blue and set about making it home. During this time I began pottery again; taking lessons with a new friend and established fellow potter. I began to focus on creating, learning and experimenting on a more regular basis whilst working
in education.
I now throw and fire in our home and at a shared ceramics collective I founded
with two wonderful female potters, in Bridport.
Creating batch pottery means pieces are made in small runs and all the makes are unique, focusing less on volume and more on sustainable practices. I spend
a lot of time outdoors with our bedlington whippets and tend to use nature and seasons as inspiration for form in my creative process. Clay is fundamentally part of the earth, and using natural real-world influences to shape my designs creates a connection that feels both grounding and intentional; a reminder that each piece begins as raw material from the landscape and returns to everyday life as something useful and lasting.
